Kennesaw State University trademarks not only protect the reputation of the university, but the revenue from our licensed products also give back to the KSU community by supporting initiatives for students and faculty.

Mission

Kennesaw State University Trademark Licensing program protects the reputation and goodwill of Kennesaw State University through the control and appearance of its name and indicia’s in the marketplace and elsewhere. It promotes and advances Kennesaw State University by keeping its name and indicia’s in the public eye and through the association of reputable vendors who provide quality goods and services. The revenue generated from the sale of licensed merchandise help to fund university initiatives and scholarships.

KSU Trademarks

KSU has registered trademarks with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). KSU’s trademarks are listed and displayed on the trademark licensing official logo sheet. As indicated on the logo sheet, any use of the KSU trademarks requires licensing approval from KSU and The Collegiate Licensing Company (CLC).

The University has contracted with The Collegiate Licensing Company (CLC), the nation's leading collegiate licensing and marketing representative, to enhance the University's efforts in this area. The CLC Consortium consists of nation’s top colleges, universities, athletic conferences, bowls, the NCAA, the College Football Playoff, and the Heisman Trophy. Based in Atlanta, CLC provides its member institutions with expertise, resources, and experience necessary to maximize licensing revenue potential through the power of consolidation.
